Our Community
The Briarcliff Oaks Community includes residents, their families, staff, board members, volunteers, vendors, contractors and the larger community. We are a caring community commited to providing affordable housing for extremely low to low income elderly individuals. Briarcliff Oaks offers residents an opportunity to enjoy an unsurpassed quality of life through a variety of excellent amenities and services.
Who We Are
Briarcliff Oaks is a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Decatur, providing quality, affordable housing and services to older adults of all faiths and beliefs. We strive to enhance the quality of life for our residents in all respects; physical, social, psychological, emotional and spiritual. Our varied programs are designed toward this goad and we encourage the active participation of each resident respecting individual preferences.
The well-being and satisfaction of all residents is our primary objective with their needs being our top priority. Our aim is to provide affordable and comfortable apartments for our residents within a senior living community. All are treated with courtesy, dignity and respect. Opportunities are provided for life enrichment through participation in community affairs, meaningfull fellowship and other productive activities.
